Look what I found at the dollar store. I can just plop that in my water container and I don't have to strain the water.
What a great idea.
Drinking lemon water is suppose to help with digestion and weight loss as well as giving yourself a wee boost of vitamin C, which is good for the immune system.

I won't be weighing in this week. It doesn't take much to break the momentum. A bit of stress, an upset, something in your life that isn't right. I am still exercising, which is good but the past week hasn't been as good food-wise. This was my supper last night. So I know I am still doing well but we did order pizza on Sunday- which isn't good but I know that I didn't eat like a pig, which is what I used to do. I made homemade granola bars this morning. I got the recipe from Food Doodles. Now they go into the freezer to harden up.
Onward and upward. Or downward, really! ![]() Those little 100 calorie snacks- they come in a pack of 6 or 10- unless you go to Costco and get the jumbo pack of 40. But let me warn you! Don’t do it. Having snacks in the house is not good for me. I will just eat them. It doesn’t matter if it is granola bars, chocolate, chips, ice-cream or the so-called ‘healthy’ 100 calorie tiny bags of goodness that makes you believe you are doing well, because it is only 100 calories, right? What is the harm? It doesn’t help the diet or healthy eating plan if you eat the whole box! And that is what I do-- because they are there! I am sure anyone is better off having a snack of an apple or a banana or other fruit. It goes along the lines of not eating pre-packaged food. I forgot that yesterday when I went shopping at Costco. Check out this video on YouTube about what exactly is 200 calories. It gives a better understanding of how much food we are eating. I watch this periodically to refresh my memory! |
