Keep On Keeping On

I won't be weighing in this week.

It doesn't take much to break the momentum.  A bit of stress, an upset, something in your life that isn't right. 

I am still exercising, which is good but the past week hasn't been as good food-wise.

This was my supper last night.  So I know I am still doing well but we did order pizza on Sunday- which isn't good but I know that I didn't eat like a pig, which is what I used to do.

I made homemade granola bars this morning.  I got the recipe from Food Doodles.

Now they go into the freezer to harden up.

Onward and upward.  Or downward, really!

That salad looks delicious! Just get right back with your diet. As long as you realize there will be times when you eat something you shouldn't and you can just go right back to eating healthy and still do fine. This is a lifetime journey. You don't have to change everything in a month or even a few months. If you stick with it in a year you will be very happy with your results.

    An almost 50 gal who wants to get healthy and lose weight so I can live longer without hobbling around on artificial knees or sitting in a scooter with my ass-fat hanging on either side of the seat, yelling at people to get out of my way as I cruise down the cookie aisle!!
